Autumn

Hi and welcome, everyone! Today I have a quick post to share with you featuring the Arboretum Leaves Stamp Set. This set is free with a $50 purchase for October over on the SumMore Fun Website. Be sure to check out the clearance, some sets are as low as $2.99. I purchased a few items from her the other day, and she asked if I would have time to work with this set. She sent me four 6 x 6 papers, too. I'm not an affiliate, but she did send me the stamp set and paper for free. Arboretum Leaves

To recreate this card, start by stamping the images onto patterned paper, add clear embossing powder and heat set. Once it's cooled, take Memento Ink in the color Elderberry, straight to the paper and cover the entire piece of paper, allow it few seconds to dry. Then take a rag or paper towel and wipe the card panel off. The embossed area will resist the ink and, once wiped clean, will reveal the patterned paper underneath. Add to a Kraft card base. Stamp the sentiment onto Kraft cardstock using the Elderberry ink, die-cut two circles from yellow cardstock and vellum. Using 3D mounting on the back of the yellow circle, add twine, and adhere to the card base. Add vellum, sentiment using 3D mounting foam. Finish off with sequins.

For the other card, I simply dry embossed green card stock, ran it through my BigKick with a round die position on the side, and added ink around the edge of the cardstock. I stenciled a piece of the 6 x 6 paper, using Distress Ink in the color Peeled Paint and a leaf pattern stencil, cut the paper to fit my card base, then using 3D mounting foam I added the dry embossed cardstock over revealing the stump and leaf. Heat emboss two acorns with gold embossing powder. Add sentiment.
