Today we are celebrating Lesley's Birthday, the owner of Annie's Paper Boutique, home to the amazing Trendy Twine.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I decided to create a Disney themed card, knowing that Lesley is a fan of Disney, like myself. To say I had a good time making this card would be an understatement. I used my Glimmer Foil System, which by the way, I love, along with the All Occasion Pennants Hot Plates and Dies and the Everyday Sentiments II Hot Plates and Dies. Of course, I used Simple Stories Say Cheese 6x6 Paper Pad, one of my favorites.
This card is actually really easy to create. Start by foiling the BDAY Pennant with Crimson Stars Foil along with the Birthday Wishes Sentiment onto black cardstock. Cut patterned papers, and the newsprint paper is cut to 4 1/8" x 53/8" centered on an A2 black card base using glue. Wrap red and white Trendy Twine around the black and white polka dot paper that has been trimmed down to measure 21/2" x 41/8"; tie the twine in a knot, snip tails away. Add mounting foam to the back of the pattern paper above and below the twine and adhere to the card base. Tie a tiny bow around the pennant pole using red and white twine, and black, gray, and white twine leave tails a little longer.
Finish off with gold sequins.
