How To Use Transfer Gel Duo with Stencils

Hi, crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a few of MY tips for applying Deco Foil Transfer Gel over stencils to create gorgeous foiled cards. I have a video tutorial directly below for you, so join me!

I also chat about using this gel and stencils on acetate and yupo paper. Yes, those gorgeous alcohol ink blended backgrounds you can foil over those using this awesome gel.

To recreate this card, simply follow the steps below after foiling cardstock and acetate.

  1. Trim foiled cardstock and acetate to the same size make sure you keep the stenciled pattern offset (see picture above)

  2. Use clear glue dots to adhere the acetate to the foiled cardstock.

  3. Cut lime cardstock to frame foiled paper.

  4. Using Ultra Bond Permanent Glue adhere lime cardstock to an A2 card base, center foiled paper on lime cardstock adhering with the Ultra Bond Glue.

  5. Stamp Martini Glasses from the HBS Raise A Glass Stamp Set and stamp the sentiment from the HBS Sip Sip Hooray Stamp Set, run through a die-cutting machine with coordinating dies

  6. Adhere to card using double-sided foam adhesive

  7. Finish off with Bokeh Confetti

As always, please know how much I appreciate you stopping by, and I hope you have an amazing day!
