Interactive Valentine Cards
Hi, and welcome back, everyone! Today I'm sharing a "No-See" Interactive card. What makes it now see? You don't see the mechanisms that make it interactive, it's like magic. Of course, I had to use this cutie from Whimsy Stamps, VooDoo Stamps. Of course, I have a video tutorial and I've included a step-by-step pictorial below.
Start by die-cutting the following: two slimline windows; clouds and grass using scrap blue and green cardstock; wood fence using tan cardstock
Stamp images onto #80 smooth cardstock, stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp the image two times
Color with E41, E42, E43, and R29; add shading with polychromos; detail with a gold gel pen
Run through Scan N Cut or fussy cut; glue together with liquid adhesive; let dry
On a 31/8thw x 81/8th L piece of white cardstock create a sky using Memento Summer Sky ink
Add Memento Summer Sky to the edge of die-cut clouds and Bamboo Leaves to die-cut grass
Use glue to stack frames together and glue to the back panel
Glue clouds, grass, and fence into windows
Add Summer Sky around edges of 4" x 9" slimline card
Add mounting foam to the back of panel creating a track for pull tab
Adhere no-see mechanism to the back of the image and to pull tab
Remove paper backing from the foam
Cover with white cardstock trim to fit
Add glue to the back and center on the card base
Lay down Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Barn Door, Crushed Olive, and Tumbled Glass on a scrap piece of paper
Run through the die-cut machine with flowers from the Curved Hills Die Set
Add to card with adhesive foam circles
Finish off with Jelly Hearts and On Point Glue
So, there you have no-see interactive cards. Interactive cards are so much fun, especially, for small children. Thanks for stopping by today.
