My Hero | New Mini Release Honey Bee Stamps
Hello, everyone! I'm here to tell you all about two new stamp sets from Honey Bee Stamps, My Hero and United We Stand. The My Hero Stamp and Coordinating Honey Cuts, perfect for so many different needs and a year-round set! That's music to my hears and wallet.
All the cards are clean and simple and start with a 4.25" x 5.5" 110lb card base. The Military Appreciation cards use two .75" strip color cardstock, like the black and gold seen below for Army.
The coordinating Honey Cuts has three layers for the word die, HERO. I've used the shadow(gray) and the top layer(white) for all four of my cards. Simple Copic coloring with C1, C3, and C5 on the dog tags that were stamped with Memento Ink London Fog onto 80lb Neenah Classic Crest Cardstock. Liquid and foam adhesive circles to adhere all the pieces to the card base, and Versafine Clair Nocture Ink to stamp the sentiment. For a special touch add one die-cut gold heart to each colored dog tag.
I love making Teacher Appreciation cards but never have a need for them so I don't make them. I decided what the heck and went with it. Pattern paper from the Over the Rainbow Paper Pad cut to 1.5" glued to the card base along with two 1/8" strips of black cardstock on each side of the pattern paper. Stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with COPIC markers. N2, N4, N6, R39, R37, R35. Stamped sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, add one gold heart. Finish off with coordinating enamel dots.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to join me over on the Honey Bee Stamps YouTube Channel Thursday, June 18th. I'm sharing another card I created using the United We Stand Stamp and coordinating Honey Cuts.
