Quick and Simple Christmas Cards
Hi and welcome, everyone! Today I'm sharing lots of quick and simple Christmas cards featuring My Mind's Eye Winterberry Collection. This collection is from 2018, but I have a new collection listed below for you, but you can do this with any paper collection that has coordinating ephemera, die cuts, and enamel dots.
I also recommend twine, thread, and sequins to embellish the cards, but it's not necessary.
I love creating like this for so many reasons; you only need a few supplies, and no guesswork is involved because the paper companies have coordinated everything so perfectly. Did I mention minimal supplies? Liquid adhesive, mounting foam, a tape runner, and paper trimmer. Of course, you will need clear plastic for the shaker cards. I recommend Hero Arts Acetate sheets but also explain in the video how you can use any clear packaging in place of the acetate. This is also a great way for kids to create a few cards for teachers, coaches, family, and friends.
This is a quick video explaining how to create three styles of Quick and Simple Christmas cards plus a few tips on paper collections and patterned paper.
