Star Bucks Gift Card Holder
Hi, and welcome back! Today I'm super excited to share this adorable Gift Card Holder Card, it has inspired me in more ways than one. I'll get to that in a few minutes, but first I have to talk about these cuties, Dasher and Dancer. How cute are these little guys from the Simon Says Stamp Merry and Bright Stamp set.? Adorable!
I have a quick video tutorial for you, but I'm going to walk you through this with a step by step tutorial, too.
Color image using Copic Markers and Faber Castell Pencils or whatever coloring medium you have available
Die-cut colored image with coordinating die
Place card base into Misti, temporarily add the coffee cup and position the coffee stamp
Stamp the coffee using Memento Rich Cocoa ink
Stamp background using stars, starbursts, and sentiments; add mounting foam to cup and sentiment strip and adhere to the card base
Print free printable, cut to fit inside the card, die-cut with Gift Card Slot Dies or just cut the opening with a paper trimmer
Add sookwang (tear tape) to the back of the sentiment, using an old gift card or piece of paper cut to size has a place holder when adding adhesive to the back side of the sentiment panel, center inside card
Place a gift card so it covers up the punch line and can be revealed when the recipient opens the card
When I found this joke while I was perusing the internet and I knew immediately this had to happen. And while I was designing the sentiment, I got an idea, an excellent idea! What if I created a few sentiments to go inside cards for my subscribers, and they could just print them out at home? And here we are, newly free printables. I will be adding printables periodically for you to use. If you happen to use them would you let everyone know where you found, I would be so grateful! Thanks to everyone who follows along with my crazy ideas, you all are so encouraging, and I appreciate you all!
Thanks for taking the time to join me here on the website today! Please feel free to share. I hope you are having a fabulous crafty day!
