LisaMensing.com, that's me, is sponsoring a second giveaway here on my blog. One lucky winner will win the No See Kinetic Basic Dies and one pack of round foam dots.

I have a few Halloween cards to share featuring Kinetic Dies and Boo to You Stamps along with a video tutorial. As always, I did a walkthrough below.

  • Stamp and color images; I used COPIC makers. You can fussy cut the images or use a scan n cut, it just makes things easier.

I’m keeping this simple. I color the hat belt and shoes using Black 100, and I leave the tiniest bit of white showing.

Next, I color the jacket using V09, V06, V04 and add Black100 for darkening up the shadows, then over the black with V09 to blend it out a tad.

For her leggings, I start with YR02 and color in every other stripe. Using E09 I add shading t the outer and inner parts of the colored stripe. Then start blending by add YR09, YR07, YR04. I color the remaining stripes with YG17, YG13, YG11. To darken up the outer and inner parts of the leg I had N9 then blend that out with the darkest shades of orange and green.

For her face, I decided to use E000, E00, E04, E11, and R01 to add color to her cheeks.

I color the broom using E37, E34, E31, and E29.

The band around her hat I’m using E09, YR09, YR07, YR04, YR02, and N9 N0, N2, N4 to color the buckles

For hair, I use E31, E34, and E37

Now onto Frankenstein, I start out by coloring his hair shoes with Black100 leaving the tiniest bit of white.

His skin is colored using YG03, YG21, YG23, YG25, and R01 for his cheeks the bolts are colored using N8, N5

  • Die-cut the hidden slider track

  • Die-cut pieces from the No See Kinetic Dies using black cardstock.

  • Assemble the pieces using liquid adhesive

  • Add 3D mounting to the back of the panel, make sure the mounting foam does not interfere with the movement of the parts, then attach to a 4.25" x 5.5" card base, make sure everything is moving freely.

  • Die-cut the fence from the Kinetic Curved Hills Die SetStamp and heat emboss the sentiment onto the fence before adding it to the card base.

  • Add 3D mounting foam to the back of the die-cut fence; adhere to the card base to cover the slider track.

  • Glue witch to the slider; I used a mini action wobble

For a chance to win that $20 gift certificate all you need to is answer one simple question!

Do you prefer a cutesy Halloween or spooky Halloween?

I love SPOOKY! I don't like being scared but I will do it! My hubby says I'm an adrenaline junky. So, I'm always the first one to say YES let's go to the haunted house. I imagine if I drank beer I would be that friend with the famous last words....."Here, hold my beer!".

I can't wait to read your answers. Have fun with your answer.

You have until October 29th to leave a comment below. I will randomly draw two winners from the comments below and add the winner at the top of this post on October 31st after Whimsy Stamps has announced all the winners. The winner will receive the Gift Certificate directly from Whimsy Stamps.
