Under The Sea with Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #

First, let me tell ya’ll every time I hear/read “Under The Sea” The Little

Mermaid comes to mind. But not just any “Little Mermaid”! My niece had

an Ariel doll that would sing and she played that thing like there was no

tomorrow. It’s a good thing I love that kid or that doll would have

disappeared!

Under The Sea created at In The Crafting Cave with Lisa

To create the background I applied Distress Ink directly to a stamping block, misted

with water and applied to paper, moving it around. I learned this “smooshing” technique

from the Craftsy Class Vibrant Stamping by Laura Bassen, I dried with heat gun, then laid the stencil

down, applied DryDex, with the stencil still down I applied Fairy Dust, removed stencil, dried with heat gun.  Colored the image with COPICS, die cut, layered onto background paper and white cardstock.
