You're A Rainbow
Hello and welcome, back! I have a slimline card to share with you today, and I'm featuring Whimsy Stamps Happy Sky Stamps, and Coordinating Dies with this one. If you haven't checked their February Release, you should. I ordered the first thing yesterday morning! I grabbed the 6 x 6 Rainbow paper pad, Primitive Shaker Shapes Dies and the Rainbow Words Dies.
So, Slimline's are quickly becoming one of my favorites to create. I love all the real estate you have to work with, it makes for excellent ink blending opportunities and let's be honest, it's nice to change things up once in a while.
VIDEO TUTORIAL
STEP-BY-STEP

Stamp images using Versafine Onyx Black Ink onto Bristol Smooth paper

Color images with Arteza Real Brush pens or any coloring medium of your choice

Run images through the die-cutting machine with the
coordinating dies. Also, run the Whimsy Slimline Postage die through the die-cutting machine with at least
an #80 cardstock, I used #110

Start with a 4" x 9" card base #110
Blend Distress Oxides in the colors Abandoned Coral, Scattered Straw, and Squeezed Lemonade onto the cardbase. You do this on a piece of 4 x 9 cardstock and then glue it to the card base.
I mentioned in the video that it is my opinion that distress oxides blend best on Neenah #110 cardstock.

Add a light mist of Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spray

Add mounting foam strips to the back of the slimline postage die and add to card base on a slant or straight, it's completely up to you.

Tun the sentiment through the die-cutting machine using
the slimline postage die so the sides line up nicely. Using liquid adhesive to the back of the balloon and add to the sentiment strip. Add rainbow over sentiment using Arteza pens.

Use the mounting foam and arrange the images on the card base

Stamp clouds using Memento London Fog Ink

Run clouds through the die-cutting machine with the coordinating dies; add foam dots to the back of the clouds and arrange on the card.

Thanks for stopping by today!
hugs, Lisa
